Another Capital Region Chick-Fil-A Is In The Works
Several new Chick-Fil-A's are up and running in the Capital Region, and now another new location is being proposed.
After the Capital Region's long wait for Chick-Fil-A to finally open in the area ended earlier this year, the new restaurants just keep on coming! A 6th Capital Region eatery is now in the works!
When the Clifton Park and North Greenbush Chick-Fil-A's opened a few months ago, it ended years of speculation and rumors about the restaurant opening locations outside of the Albany airport. In addition to the location that opened at the New Baltimore rest area on the Thruway and a proposed Colonie location on Troy-Schenectady Road, the Times Union is reporting the chicken specialists are now planning a 6th area restaurant.
Chick-Fil-A Proposes New Albany Restaurant
According to the Times Union report, Chick-Fil-A is proposing a new restaurant located at 944 Central Avenue in Albany. Construction on the new location could start as soon as April of next year and would take about 6 months to complete.
Based on the lines I am always seeing at the Clifton Park location, the Capital Region can certainly support the additional restaurants being planned, if not more in the future.
Based on those lines, the food is pretty good at Chick-Fil-A. But how do their chicken sandwiches stack up against these local favorites?
