You couldn’t have asked for a better evening to have a party. The weather was perfect, with sunshine and blue skies. Albany’s Alive at Five had one of the biggest crowds of the season for Country Night with WGNA, as my one blog says about giving you something to do this summer. The opening act, the local favorites The Hillbilly Horns went on stage at 5:00 p.m. and as always did a great job. They rocked the house, and even had some of the folks dancing. They opened up for two very nice people: Husband and wife Keifer Thompson and Shawna Thompson, Thompson Square. The crowd went wild as Albany Mayor Jerry Jennings introduced them and they came on stage. Everyone loved it as they performed their hits, and also a few little extra popular tunes thrown into their set.

During the show, we met up with so many of our great listeners, and some of our friends from Fox 23 t.v.
