After what has been a pretty mild spring, we can expect some cooler temperatures over the next month.

According to the Weather Channel, we could have a chilly May ahead. The latest forecasts are predicting below average temperatures across the Northeast. Basically, the jet stream will be driven south during May which will usher in cooler temperatures. Also, the Weather Channel says all the rain we have gotten this month will also keep temps cooler as soil moisture is a contributing pattern. Current models have this weather pattern lasting at least halfway through the month.

We have lucked out this spring with pretty mild temperatures, and honestly these trend reaches well back into winter. And lets be honest - a cooler than average 2 weeks in May is no big deal, especially considering everything else we have dealt with over the last 6 weeks!
