Albany Area Sunocos Robbed

There was an armed robbery at the Sunoco A+ Mini Mart at the corner of Exchange Street and Everett Road in Colonie, early Tuesday morning.

There may be an added twist to this robbery – The same thing happened on Monday in Albany, at the Sunoco station at the corner of Whitehall Road and Delaware Avenue. It seems the robber had a gun displayed in both robberies, and it’s possible it may be the same person.

In a story that I saw on News 10 ABC, Colonie Police described the robber as a six-foot tall white man, weighing about 215 pounds wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with gold zipper and a multiple colored scarf to cover his face.
