Luke Bryan announced his new What Makes You Country album, and with 15 songs and dozens of songwriter,s there's a lot to process. Song details, collaborations, a theory that he might have written our news host's biography ... here are four truths one big, fat lie about Bryan's next studio album.

What Makes You Country (Dec. 8) features 15 songs, seven co-written by Bryan. The songwriting roster is dominated by familiar men like Dallas Davidson and Ashley Gorley, two of the decade's biggest hitmakers. "Pick It Up" is one song Bryan co-wrote, and he tells ToC it's about his kids.

Bryan explained the title of the album in a press release and during a Facebook Live chat. He wants to know what makes you country, so go ahead and share in the comments section. The title track is available at iTunes and YouTube — it's a song that defends popular modern day country singers from attacks that they aren't like the last generation. It's an age-old argument that Bryan is flying a flag for.

What Makes You Country will be Bryan's sixth studio album, the follow-up to the tremendously successful Kill the Lights.
