3 Local Breweries to Check Out at Saratoga Brewfest
Saratoga Brewfest is returning to the Saratoga Race Course this Saturday, May 20.
This year, the Race Course will house 160+ brews from over 80 breweries. The amount of choices you'll be faced with on Saturday may overwhelm you, but don't worry - we got your back. Check out these 3 local breweries you need to check out while you're there.
- 1
WOLF HOLLOW BREWING COMPANY
Wolf Hollow, located in Glenville, has a great selection of brews from Irish Dry to Amber Ale. There are even some special brews that only the locals will understand, like the Lock 9 Porter. We're most excited to try the summery Campout Stout with a rich coffee infusion, though.
- 2
SHMALTZ BREWING COMPANY
Located right in Clifton Park, Shmaltz has some of the most creative names for brews we've ever seen. Vulcan Ale? Tribe Called Shmaltz? We're listening. Catch one of their new Spring/Summer releases at Brewfest, like the Wishbone Double IPA.
- 3
MAD JACK BREWING CO.
Mad Jack is a microbrewery located right in Schenectady as an extension of the Van Dyck Lounge. Mad Jack has plenty of brews to love, but we're most excited to try the Summer Night Ale at Saratoga Brewfest. What better way to usher in the summer than with a beer that has 'summer' right in the title?
