Unboxing For Local Businesses Made My Heart Happy

Yesterday's first local business live #unboxing was awesome and we can't wait to do it again.  So send us your stuff.

A little over a week ago when Chrissy and I suggested that local businesses send us some merch for us to unbox and plug on our social medias, we had no idea what to expect.  We know times are tough for local businesses and offering up some free plugs was the least we could do.  When we got our first box, we were pretty stoked.  Then as the week went on, we kept getting more and more and it was like Christmas as all the boxes started to pile up.  We truly wanted to be surprised with what people sent us, so we didn't open anything up until Friday morning when we did the Unboxing live on Facebook.  We got some cool t-shirts and mugs, hilarious hats, beauty products, some damn good jerky, and more.  While we were showcasing all the local stuff, it was hard to tell in real time what people were saying and whether or not people enjoyed it.  But I'll admit, I've since gone back and watched the 25 minute Facebook video a few different times and my heart feels warm seeing comments from the fine hard-working people behind theese businesses genuinely excited to see their products get a plug (and a place in our GNA studio).   We know these times are tough, so to see y'all comment, and smile, and beam with pride made my day and certainly Chrissy's too.  As long as you guys keep sending us stuff, we'll keep doing it.  So to all the local small business owners out there, keep your heads up and thank you for doing what you do.  This shit right now is only temporary- what's here to stay is you.
