An Albany brewery just earned the title of 'Best Craft Beer' in New York State.

Albany Pump Station's 'Union Station Quad' brew won the title at the Tap New York Craft Beer and Food Festival on Saturday. In an interview with News 10, pump station brewer Ryan Demler said “It’s a super nice flavored beer.” Demler told News 10 they have been producing this brew a few years using different flavors, including plum, pomegranate and this year red currant.

They also took home a few other awards at the festival: Best Strong Scottish Ale and second place in the Hudson Valley for their brown ale.

If you would like to sample this award winning beer, Union Station will be on tap starting today - Thursday, April 28. You can learn more about the Albany Pump Station here.
