Downtown Albany Restaurant Week – Three Course Meal for $20.12!

Restaurant week starts this week in Albany. I don’t know about you, but I will take any reason to have a “date night” or even a night out with friends, especially when it’s this cheap! Starting TODAY, you can have a 3 course meal for $20.12 per person!!! What a deal!

There are 16 restaurants participating this week in downtown Albany. One in particular I am excited about is the Brown Derby. I have been there one other time and the food is amazing and I can’t wait to go back this week. Also in full disclosure it is a "Mallozzi" owned restaurant and Bobby Mallozzi is a friend. Still, amazing food!

Restaurant week happens twice a year in the Capital District as a way to celebrate local restaurants. Each area schedules them at different times, but the result is always the same, great food for a low price. It’s a great way to sample new restaurants or ones you always thought were too expensive to go to.

Here are the participating restaurants in Albany:

The Victory Café, V & R Italian Ristorante, Taste, The Merry Monk, Marché, Legend's on Pearl, La Serre, Katrinella's Bistro, Jack's Oyster House, Hudson Harbor Steak and Seafood, Franklin's Tower, Cafe Capriccio, The Brown Derby, The Bayou Café, Kelsey's, The Albany Pump Station.

Also this year, Albany will host a Student Restaurant Week Night starting Monday, April 23. Students with a valid ID will get the Restaurant Week three course meal for $15.12.
