Not that long ago, Albany became the new home to Uber and now we'll have the option to use Uber to get food too!

UberEats, reported by the Times Union, "an app that lets people with Uber accounts have food delivered." The announcement was made this morning at the Albany Pump Station that UberEats will be available to deliver throughout Albany with hopes, I'm sure, to expand through the Capital Region.

You can also order delivery from: "Madison’s Pizza, D.P. Dough, El Mariachi, TapAsia, Anton’s Greek Eatery, Allie B’s Cozy Kitchen,  Mamoun’s Mideast Café and several McDonald’s," according to the Times Union. Albany Pump Station and El Mariachi are delivering exclusively through UberEats.

The way it works, you download the free UberEats app or menus available online, order and pay online and you'll be able to follow the Uber delivery to see when you can expect your food. There will be a flat fee of $5.99 and the option to tip drivers within the app itself.
