We are smack dab in the middle of the holiday season. Everyone is out Christmas shopping, Holiday songs are on the radio and many of the television networks are breaking out the Christmas movies. There are a ton of great one's to choose from and here are just a few of mine. See if you agree.
Richie Phillips posted a story recently about Rolling Stone magazine's picks for the best country albums of 2012. I will admit they are some decent picks and certainly deserve to have a listen. I thought I would do the same and pick out my favorite country albums that came out sometime this year.

I recently saw an article about some of the latest toys to be inducted into the National Toy Hall Of Fame. This year's inductees were Star Wars action Figures and Dominoes. Lonestar is back with original lead singer Richie McDonald and they are playing Upstate Concert Hall tonight for a big reunion show. Alan Jackson is coming to town this Saturday (10/20) to the Glens Falls Civic Center for what should be a fantastic show. I've seen AJ a few times in concert and you are guaranteed a night of nothing but hit after hit. The guy has 34 #1's and a slew of top 5's and top 10's as well. Here is a few of my favorites that I hope he performs on Saturday night.
I am really getting excited for the big GNA Summer Picnic coming up on August 25th at the Saratoga County Fairgrounds. All the acts are great including our headliner Chris Cagle.
Brad Paisley brings his "Virtual Reality Tour" to SPAC this Friday and I must say I am really looking forward to it. I have seen Brad every time he has come to the area and his shows get better and better every tour. I guess you can say I am a big Brad Paisley fan and hope to hear some of my favorite songs on Friday.
The weather may be warmer now, but it's not officially summer until June 20th. I love the summertime because besides the weather there is plenty that I am looking forward to.
It is a great time to sports fan right now. The NBA just kicked off their playoffs. The NHL is in full effect with their playoffs and every game has been incredible. Major League Baseball is a month into the season and already fantastic. NASCAR is moving right along with many great races. The only thing missing is the NFL, but their is enough off season stuff going on to make football fans happy.
