It is certainly the holiday season and plenty of Christmas music can be heard all over. GNA has some of your favorite Country Christmas tunes for you this time of year. We all have our favorites and here are some of mine.

1. Santa Claus Is Back In Town

Yeah, Elvis is the King Of Rock And Roll but country artists such as Kenny Chesney, Trisha Yearwood, Dwight Yoakam and Scotty McCreery have recorded this one. My all time favorite Christmas song!

2. There's A New Kid In Town

A song co-written by the late great Keith Whitley. A great story song about the true meaning of Christmas. I love Trisha Yearwood's version the best but there are other great renditions by George Strait, Blake Shelton,  Alan Jackson and of course Keith Whitley himself.

3. Merry Christmas From The Family

The moment I heard the first verse of this one (Mom Got Drunk and Dad Got Drunk at our christmas party) I was a fan of this song. Montgomery Gentry do a great job with this Robert Earl Keen penned redneck Christmas song.

4. I Only Want You For Christmas

To me it just isn't Christmas if I don't hear this great Alan Jackson tune at least a time or two.

5. Santa Looked A Lot Like Daddy

I became a fan of this song thanks to Garth Brooks and his album Beyond The Season. But if it wasn't for Buck Owens, there wouldn't be a song at all.

So that's my list, do you agree? What are you're favorite Country Christmas songs?
