I gave Garth Brooks' Ghosttunes a whirl today.  I found a deal that you wouldn't believe (no, I don't get a piece of this, unfortunately).

There's a scientific study for everything these days.  The latest comes from a group of intellectuals who studied, of all things - ear worms (songs that you can't get out of your head)   Here were the results.

I have to admit, I'm not a huge Black Sabbath fan, and I kinda like the Foo Fighters but as you may know, I LOVE Zac Brown. That for me was enough to give this a watch and I'm glad I did. I think you should check it out too.

Fall is here and what better way to kick it off than Oktobeefest? The beer gods graced us with beautiful weather to go along with the awesome beer and music.

As you know, Garth is on a mission.  One of the most successful artists in music history is attempting a comeback, as you may have heard (LOL).  I'm just wondering how you feel about his chances of succeeding?

You may have seen this video making the rounds, it's worth a look. I can't say it's a hit song for the radio but it sure does hit me right where I live.. in the kitchen! Sadly I think all to many of us feel this same way and for a great many different reasons, alas "youth is wasted on the young."

Bethany showed me this video, and I got a huge kick out of it, mostly because he uses the same process as I do to write a song, and he's only 5 years old!

It's always amazing to watch street performers. Now you too can become one in downtown Albany if you play the piano.

This absolutely blew me away. I guess, needless to say, there is talent ALL OVER planet Earth!

What other subject could you cover this week?  It has to be about the troops and the flag and patriotism and all that good stuff. You, our faithful listeners did it again!  I absolutely loved the lyrics to this one.  It almost wrote itself!
