Today's e mail was from a woman who wasn't sure she would actually know right away if she met the right guy. Her friend's told her she would, and she was wondering if it is always like that, or were there some couples who kind of grew on each other...

My brother Stephen got married over the weekend and as with any wedding it was a pretty joyous event - but most of all I was so proud to see my kid brother get married. If any two people should be married, it’s him and his now wife Meredith. They have a beautiful child and  I am so lucky to finally be an uncle. The best part of the day though is getting the entire family together.

I always look forward to Valentine cards each year.

Valentine's Day.  No need to go on with a long drawn-out explanation about what this holiday is for.  Love, Flowers, Cupid....all that junk.   I want to represent the other side for a change.  They deserve a mention on this day too, you know!!!

Valentines day is coming up next week and CMT will be having a special this weekend counting down the Top 40 Greatest Love Songs. Included in the countdown will be interviews with stars such as Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban and Rascal Flatts. The special premieres Saturday at 8p.
