Families in the Albany area got the best gift ever when their husbands, wives, fathers, mothers and children returned home early this morning.

It's a happy time of year, but it can also be quite stressful trying to find the perfect gift for a close friend or significant other.

This turns my stomach to see this. The fact that anyone would steal donations meant for any charity or organization is just sick, but when they were intended for our US Troops at Christmas that is even more disturbing.

If you're looking to get in the holiday spirit, gather up the family and head to Capital Rep in Albany. The Christmas Classic 'It's A Wonderful Life' has been transformed into a 70 minute one-man play.

Everyone has a Christmas wish each and every year. Some wish for money, or to find a good job or for a sick friend or family member to get well. Those are great wishes and I have wished for some of those things in years past.

As we get close to the Christmas holiday we all think fondly of friends and family and look forward to more great years with them. We also think of our family that is no longer with us and has passed on.

It's the time of year when it seems everyone is happy to help or do something to make a difference in the community. On Saturday, December 1, 2012 a group of 17 Clifton Park area line dancers got together to bring smiles to the residents of Maplewood Manor Nursing Home in Ballston Spa, New York.
