With NASCAR's regular season coming to an end tonight at Richmond International Raceway we'll know the list of drivers who will be eligible to compete for this year's Championship.

The field of 16 drivers who will be part of the Sprint Cup Series Chase for the Championship will be finalized after tonight's "one last race to make the Chase". In qualifying on Friday, Brad Keselowski won his fourth pole of the year. The pole is his fourth of the season - the most he has ever had in one year - and although Keselowski has never won at Richmond he feels he has the best car that he has ever had in 11 visits to the track.

Points leader Jeff Gordon qualified second to also start on the front row. Gordon's teammate Jimmie Johnson starts third, followed by Kevin Harvick and Joey Logano. Clint Bowyer qualified 6th qualifier and is the first of 17 drivers that still have a chance to win their way into the Chase. Here is the complete starting lineup.

On Friday night, Kyle Busch dominated the Nationwide Series race at Richmond to win for the 67th time in that series. Chase Elliott, Kevin Harvick, Ryan Blaney and Brian Scott completed the top five.

In local racing last night, Danny Varin won the CRSA sprint car feature at Albany-Saratoga Speedway. The Sportsman feature was claimed by Cody Bleau with Jeremy Pitts second. Pitts was crowned high point champion in that division for the second year in a row. At the Glen Ridge Motorsports Park, Marc Johnson won the modified feature over Willy Decker, Jeff Rockefeller, Neil Stratton and Craig Hanson.
