Man Allegedly Shoplifted – Cab Driver Refused To Give Him Ride

A 32-year-old Albany man was accused of stealing several items from the East Greenbush Walmart.

Curtis L. Tunstall was accused of running from the store with two 24 inch Sanyo Televisions, two home theater stereo systems and two knife sets.

According to a press release from the East Greenbush Police Department, he allegedly hired a Yellow Cab to wait outside of the store, but the driver refused to drive Tunstall anywhere with the merchandise.

Tunstall was apprehended at a nearby McDonald’s. He was arraigned in East Greenbush Town Court and then sent to the Rensselaer County Jail
