Moms across the world have been begging us to eat our fruits and vegetables. But does it really make us THAT much healthier?

I mean listen to what kinds of things moms tell us: sitting too close to the tv will make us blind, stop crossing your eyes or you're face will freeze like that. You get the picture and we know these things don't happen!  So, fruits and vegetables- is she right?

The answer is, in fact, yes!!  It's now being reported that eating 10 portions of fruits and vegetables a day could stop premature deaths worldwide. It's recommended now that we eat 5 portions of fruits and vegetables each day.  But why not up it?!

In case you want to get the most out of your fruit and veggie increase, try apples, pears, kale, and broccoli.  These are high protein sources!

So, thanks to moms everywhere for keeping us healthy all these years and making us eat out fruits and vegetables.
