Canadian Pacific Holiday Train In Albany Area
Once again, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train Of Lights will be making it’s annual journey through the Capital Region.
Last November, the holiday train made it’s way through our area with several stops to collect food and cash donations for Albany-area food banks. The train’s stop is all part of a trip from Quebec to Saskatchewan, through Canada and the United States.
Today, the scheduled stops will be at the Cobleskill Fire Department at 610 Main Street, at 3:45 p.m. Then to Delanson at the Main Street railroad crossing at 5:15 p.m. At 6:45 p.m., the train will be in Schenectady at Schenectady Floor Covering, 1910 Maxon Road, and the final stop at the Amtrak station in Saratoga Springs at 8:45 p.m. On Saturday, the holiday train will head north to Fort Edward, at the Amtrak station around 12:45 p.m.. According to the article in the Times Union, The final stop at Pell’s Crossing , Amtrak waiting area, on Route 74 in Ticonderoga at 3:15 p.m.
