Actress and comedian Anne Meara has died. She was 85 years old.

The family released a statement that read: "Anne's memory lives on in the hearts of daughter Amy, son Ben, her grandchildren, her extended family and friends, and the millions she entertained as an actress, writer and comedienne."

Anne Meara was married to actor Jerry Stiller for 61 years!  They had 2 children, Ben & Amy. During their 61 years of marriage, they worked together almost daily as well.

The couple performed together as Stiller & Meara on The Ed Sullivan Show. Anne Meara also had a role with her Son, Ben Stiller in Night at the Museum which came out in 2006. Anne Meara is more known for her roles in movies and TV shows, including  All My Children, Rhoda, Alf, and Sex and the City.

Anne Meara's acting awards include three Emmy nominations, and a Writers Guild Award for co-writing the 1983 TV movie The Other Woman.
