Open Casting Call Details for Dannemora Series

It was the story everyone was talking about and it was already announced that Ben Stiller was attached but now he wants people from the area to be a part of the upcoming series.

Ben Stiller is holding an open casting call for his upcoming Showtime miniseries "Escape from Dannemora" based on the 2015 story of David Sweat, Richard Matt and Joyce Mitchell. Stiller has also announced for the cast, Benicio Del Toro and Paul Dano as Matt and Sweat respectively as well as Patricia Arquette as Joyce Mitchell.

The Watertown Daily Times reported that they're looking for women aged 30-60 and men aged 20-60. They're also looking specifically for current or retired law enforcement and corrections officers and those with news experience (reporters/photographers). No experience is necessary and principal roles are still open.

Auditions will be held at the Strand Central Theatre at 25 Brinkerhoff St at 10:00am to 5:20pm on July 22nd. Make sure you bring with you a current, non returnable photo.
