Zac Brown Band have canceled their highly anticipated Southern Ground Music & Food Festival for 2017.

The band cite the need to focus on their upcoming album, Welcome Homeas the reason for the cancellation, but say the show will take place again in 2018. The show was originally set for May 20-21.

“We regret to announce that the 2017 Southern Ground Music & Food Festival will be rescheduled for next year,” the event's official site confirms. “Zac Brown Band will take this time to focus on the new album, Welcome Home, and SGMFF will return in 2018. Appreciate all the support and love.”

Country Tours Hitting the Road in 2017

The annual festival got its start in 2011 and has featured an impressive lineup of multi-genre stars including Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, Kacey Musgraves, Cam and several more all making appearances in addition to ZBB. The event has taken place in Charleston, S.C. and Nashville, Tenn., since its inception.

Welcome Home is set to debut on May 12, bringing the country act back to its roots. "This is the most personal album we've ever done and we're very proud of it," Brown says about the new project in a press release. "Welcome Home."

The group will embark on a massive tour in support of the album that takes them to more than 40 cities across the country, kicking off in their native Georgia the same day Welcome Home is released. The tour continues through October when it wraps up at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

One of the group's tour stops this summer will see them headlining at WE Fest 2017, which takes place Aug. 3-5 at Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, Minn.
