Have you ever had an amazing nights sleep, get up and think, "wait, why the heck did I dream that?!"

I have this happen ALL the time. My dreams tend to be incredibly life like so sometimes I'm even wondering if whatever actually happened. Like, example: In my dream I'm having an asthma problem, which most likely means in real life I'm having an asthma problem (don't worry, I'm used to it.) In my dream I take my inhaler, but it doesn't seem to have worked. Now, when I wake up with an issue still I'm concerned I already took my inhaler and am now taking too much. Again, don't worry, I'm used to it!

Last night, no asthma issues to worry about but why the heck was Kim Kardashian in my dream?! I want to state a fact, I despise the Kardashians. However, despite this fact, there she was - KK, sitting in front of me ready to play a card game. Something very much like Cards Against Humanity and the weird part was that the question I had to throw at her was about her! I remember even saying, "well, this is awkward but..."

So, why? Why Kim Kardashian? Why a card game? What's the significance?

It turns out there are so many reasons for our subconscious to spew the, what seems completely random at us while we're resting our bodies. The most accurate (or seemingly accurate) depiction of why that I've found is on this website: DreamMoods A-Z Dream Dictionary.

Why did I dream about playing a game? According to the website:

Games

To dream that you are playing games indicates that you need to take a break from your daily life. It is time to relax. Alternatively, the dream symbolizes the spirit of competition and the rules you live by. Consider the type of game you are playing for additional significance.

I can see this, even with a recent vacation I've been on the go fairly consistently since the beginning of February with a lot of life changes.

Why Kim Kardashian? A portion of "Celebrity" states the following:

To dream that you are good friends with a celebrity represents your idealized version of someone you know in your life. Perhaps you hope that a real-life friend can act more like a particular celebrity. Consider the qualities that you see in this celebrity and how you want your friends to have those qualities. Alternatively, the dream may be trying to compensate for your own lack of self-confidence. You want to escape from your own reality and live the high life. You want to fit in.

I can honestly see this as well. It goes back to a lot of changes for myself in the last couple of months and trying to get back to "normal" almost. I'm getting there! The transition to GNA has been absolutely amazing and I'm so thankful for the people here who have welcomed me with open arms!

What weird dreams have you had recently? Can you think of anything that sparked them? Have you looked them up in the dream dictionary I've included? Feel free to share our thoughts!
