Water Usage Restriction Near Albany

The town of East Greenbush is dealing with a water usage restriction after a water main broke at Troy and Luther roads, Tuesday.  A 48-hour restriction is in place as of 8:30pm last night.  The restriction covers unnecessary uses such as watering lawns, gardens, washing cars, etc.   Town residents might find they have no water, low pressure or discolored water. 

A boil water advisory is in effect for all residents within the General Water District for the next 48 hours as well.  Residents of Hampton Manor and the Hampton Manor Water District are not affected.  For more information on the break and water situation in East Greenbush, you can go to the town's website. 

According to the Times Union, updates will be given by town officials, as work is being done and progress is being made on the broken water line.
