WATCH: Saratoga Springs PD To Investigate Broadway Confrontation

Police are investigating a confrontation between a pedestrian and a Jos. A. Bank employee that took place yesterday.

According to a Times Union report, Saratoga Spring Police are officially investigating the Broadway altercation between an employee of the clothing retailer and an older gentleman who was sitting in front of the store on a park bench.

The Times Union report says the store employee allegedly spit on the pedestrian which sparked the confrontation. It look like the employee spitting is what led the older man to jump up and starting yelling back.The 2 then go back and forth with a few threats and insults. Thankfully, another pedestrian on a bicycle intervenes to break things up and things do not escalate further than the argument.
