Watch Netflix with Your Friends While Quarantined

Did you know that there's a way to watch Netflix with your friends but without ever needing to leave your house? This might even be important information after the threat of the coronavirus is over!

Movie theatres are closing, bars and restaurants are only doing take-out, and we're supposed to be practicing "social distancing" and not hanging out with our friends so what are we supposed to do? Have a Netflix party!

Netflix Party is an option on Google Chrome that allows you to watch shows with your friends and you don't even have to leave your couch, according to News10. It allows you to watch "Netflix remotely with friends, e.g., for movie nights with that long-distance special someone. It synchronizes video playback and adds group chat."

How it works is that everyone downloads the "Netflix Party" extension on Google Chrome. One person picks a movie or episode from Netflix to watch. Then, go to the Toolbar icon and generate a link. Send that link to friends, tell them to click where it says "NP" on the top right of Chrome and it opens up a chat feed so you can talk about what you're watching.
