This is your chance to see three classic movies, all to support a great cause.

* UPDATE 5:45pm Sat. 10/10/2020: Tonight's screening of Hotel Transylvania at the Washington Fairgrounds has been canceled due to impending thunderstorms. The fairgrounds will have more info soon for ticketholders. *

The coronavirus pandemic has changed how we do a lot of things, including getting us back out to drive-in movie theaters in droves the last few months. For the Salvation Army, it has seriously affected their fundraising efforts.

That is why the Salvation Army's Movie Weekend Friday, October 9th through Sunday, October 11th at the Washington Country Fairgrounds is great on two levels. It will give you and the family a chance to get out and see some classic movies on the big screen in a safe, outdoor setting while helping to raise funds for the Salvation Army. So what movies will be shown? Jurassic Park is scheduled for Friday night, Hotel Transylvania on Saturday and Ghostbusters (One of my all-time faves!) will be shown on Sunday.

This event will benefit your local Salvation Army of Warren, Washington and Saratoga Counties. There are various vehicle pass packages available to attend all 3 nights, or you can purchase a pass for your night of choice. Passes are available for purchase here. I will also have your chance to win some passes every weeknight (Mon. October 5  - Fri. October 9) at 5:20pm with Matty's College of Country Knowledge!

This movie weekend will make for some great nights out with the family, and at the same time, you will be supporting an organization that can really use some help right now to keep serving those in need in our local communities.
