I will never forget the first time I saw the legendary Vince Gill in concert, which was also the first time I got to meet him. The show was AMAZING, but the impression I left that meet and greet with says all you need to know about the greatness of Vince Gill.

We all know Vince Gill, the superstar Country artist. He has a voice blessed by God, is a guitar virtuoso, and is one of the most critically acclaimed Country stars & songwriters of all time. Not to mention he is now a member of the legendary rock group The Eagles!

But it was something else that night that really stood out at that Vince Gill show I attended back in April of 2010 in Portland, Maine.

I was lucky enough to get into Vince's meet and greet, and typically, you get in a line and take turns saying hello and meeting your favorite artists in these situations. To start, I have never met a Country artist who was not accommodating and friendly, and ready to interact at a meet and greet. They are all special!

But Vince took it to another level that night by having all of the meet and greet attendees spread out in a huge room at the venue, where he walked around to each party to personally spend a little time, say hello, and take some photos.

This is a guy who was already a bona fide Country legend, going the extra mile to make his fans feel a little extra special. That really stuck with me all these years, and really shows how Vince and Country stars in general view the genre and fans: with reverence and respect.
