Two men were driving up the Thruway on Monday night, when they got pulled over by New York State Troopers for speeding in New Baltimore.

Mykell Miller / Rasheen Parnell

I read the story in the Times Union. It was discovered that the two men  gave them phony names. Troopers also found out that the plates were from another car.

Rasheen Parnell  and Mykell Miller, both from Brooklyn, had 77 grams of crack cocaine, 71 grams of powder cocaine and 350 small bags of heroin in the car. Parnell and Miller were both charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and false personation.

Does it seem like people will do something stupid which leads them to getting caught? These guys were speeding, had the wrong plates on the car and lied about their names and they had drugs in their car. It seems the only thing they weren't doing was driving drunk.
