A 27-year-old Albany man was sentenced to five years in prison Wednesday after pleading guilty to drug possession. Police said he tried to flush two ounces of crack down a toilet.

Natural Joseph was arrested on April 10 on the charges, according to the Times Union, after police said they chased him on a dirt bike and then into a Jennings Drive home where he fought with a police officer and tried to flush the drugs.

Joseph pleaded guilty to a third-degree felony charge.
