The National Weather Service has reported that numerous people around Johnstown have felt an earthquake registering 2.5 on the Richter scale. Here's their report.

AN EARTHQUAKE HAS BEEN FELT WEAKLY BY NUMEROUS PERSONS NEAR THE
TOWN OF JOHNSTOWN IN FULTON COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL NEW YORK. NO
DAMAGE HAS BEEN REPORTED.

THE USGS HAS INDICATED THAT AN EARTHQUAKE OF MAGNITUDE 2.5 ON THE
RICHTER SCALE WAS CENTERED AT 43.050 N/-74.378 W OR ABOUT 3
KILOMETERS NORTHWEST OF JOHNSTOWN NEW YORK.
