The Party’s Over! Popular Saratoga Springs Store to Close Forever

There is a store that sits in downtown Saratoga Springs that offers everything you would need for a party for any occasion. The owner announced that the party is over and the store would be closing for good.

Which Store in Downtown Saratoga Springs is Closing?

Tailgate and Party opened in June 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The store is filled with decorations, supplies, party games, themed items, holiday decorations, NFL team items, and more.

Owner Kristen Lambert wrote a heartfelt post on the Tailgate and Party Facebook page explaining the decision.

Due to the need to REALLY retire this time, I will be closing the doors of Tailgate and Party this November. This experience has been exciting, fun, and successful but it is time for me to pursue other retirement dreams. Thank you so much to our wonderful customers and those that have supported us through this crazy world of retail!

Kristen Lambert told the Daily Gazette that she will miss her "happy place" and that she got to meet many wonderful people.

She went on to say that she is looking forward to retiring. She and her husband plan on getting involved with animal rescues. The building will be occupied by a different business.

When Will Tailgate and Party Close?

Tailgate and Party are open from 7 am until 7 pm and will begin sales after Labor Day and sell until the products are gone.
