Each year, Six Flags is looking to make their rides bigger and badder than ever. This year, they're opening the tallest ride in New York State - are you up for the challenge?

Construction on Six Flags Darien Lake is almost finished and should be open by the middle of next month (the park opens May 4th), according to New York Upstate.

The SkySkreamer is a "spinning chair swing" but this one is bigger and taller, coming in at 24 stories high, making it the tallest ride in the entire state. 32 riders will be able to be on the ride at one time with two per swing. You'll end up spinning upwards of 35 miles per hour. There are similar SkySkreamers at other parks but none of this magnitude.

This is the first season that Darien Lake will be opening up as a Six Flags park so I'm glad to see that they'll be doing it with a new ride. Is this a ride you'll go on or is this a ride you're passing on?
