The kickoff to Kenny Chesney’s the Big Revival Tour was a marathon of hits and surprise guests. It was one of those shows where if you looked down for a moment, a loud roar from the thousands of fans around you would snap your attention back to the stage in anticipation of another cameo or another unforgettable moment.

Tuesday's Showdown came down to the final few phone calls on Taste of Country Nights radio, with country superstars Rascal Flatts' new song 'Changed' pulling ahead in the final few minutes to top Chris Janson's 'Better I Don't.' The two-night champion will sit on the sidelines today and watch Gary LeVox and company take on a new challenger today.

Uncle Kracker‘s year is about to take a very country turn. The pop crossover singer recently learned that he will be hitting the road this fall, opening shows for Brantley Gilbert on the ‘You Don’t Know Her Like I Do’ hitmaker’s first headlining tour. The Hell on Wheels Tour is set to kick off on September 27 in Lafayette, Indiana.

During the week of the CMA awards, Jake Thomas and I visited with dozens of singers at the Hilton in downtown Nashville. Uncle Kracker made a surprise visit to talk about his new single 'My Hometown.'
