U Albany

So, is 'Kegs and Eggs' in Albany still a thing? After seeing the video of Jimmy Fallon hanging out with UA students, that doesn't appear to be the case.

Even without the return of athletics until at least the Spring, the University at Albany gave us something to be excited about with the reveal of an updated logo and mascot that looks freaking awesome. I never had an issue with previous "Damien the Dane"  it was a nice looking mascot but it wasn't the most intimidating of all Great Danes.  The  Dame on the new logo is totally bada** and

With less than 10 seconds on the clock and down by 2, the U Albany Great Danes had a chance to win it at the buzzer with a Devonte Campbell three, but the ref conveniently decided to swallow his whistle as Campbell was clearly hit on the elbow at the release of the shot. Cambell's shooting motion was altered by the foul and even fell to the ground after contact.  Great effort by Will Brown's Danes

As the UAlbany Great Danes prepared for a men's basketball game Tuesday against Memphis the players were locked in, focused, and ready to go. Some of the players did find the time, however, to practice a few trick shots including this amazing one by sophomore player Ahmad Clark that would make even the great Steph Curry a little jealous!

It was all over the news channels when first reported that an alleged racially motivated fight broke out on a CDTA bus involving a couple U Albany students.

My mom and I are pretty close but even I don't think that we would have been able to accomplish this together. After many years, both of them decided to go to college and what they achieved was more that just a degree.

U Albany played host to College Week today, and we had a rollicking good time at a very ungodly hour.  We were set up in the Student Center, and the accommodations were top shelf!  It was a nice environment to write a song parody
