We’ve got big news for our WGNA fans! Jake Owen, the king of laid-back country and high-energy performances, is joining Kenny Chesney as headliner at the 2016 Taste of Country Music Festival, set for June 10th-12th at the Hunter Mountain Resort in New York’s beautiful Catskill Mountains...

You may remember Kayla Sarro as the girl who won the contest to sing on stage with Keith Urban at the Taste Of Country Music Festival, where she did an amazing job representing WGNA and the entire Capital Region.

Keith Urban invited Kayla Sarro to the stage to sing “We Were Us” with him at the 2015 Taste of Country Music Festival, and she may not have wanted to leave.

One of the stars that performed at the 2015 Taste Of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain this past Saturday was Tracy Lawrence.

After all was said and done with the contest that WGNA and Keith Urban's management had to sing with Keith at the Taste Of Country Music Festival, it was Saratoga's Kayla Sarro who got the opportunity to take the stage. Take it is not an understatement. Kayla not only held her own with Keith Urban she may have stole the show. At least for one song.

The Taste of Country Music Festival was this past weekend at Hunter Mountain, NY and I had a chance to sit down with Chase Bryant before his set. When he walked in, I have to say that my first impression was that he had what I could call "rockabilly" hair...

I have to tell you I really loved all the acts at the Taste Of Country Music Festival this year, but there was one artist I couldn't wait to meet and interview, Billy Currington. It's one of those weird things, every once in a while there is an artist who for whatever reason you never get a chance to meet or interview and Billy has been one of those artist who I have not crossed paths with before.
