What exactly was on the envelope that got 3 state workers sick on Tuesday? Sounds like the opening line to joke, but this wasn't anything to laugh at. Police say state workers have been taken to a hospital after becoming ill in their Albany office when one of them opened a letter from a foreign country.

I am not offended by a whole lot of the wages earned by many of the workers for New York. But come on, the top-earning one, really?

OGS has issued the following statement:   To help assist with a safe and orderly morning commute, state offices in the Capital District will open on a staggered schedule February 14, beginning at 8:15 a.m.

State - Governor Cuomo is threatening to impose a teacher evaluation system if an agreement between the state Education Department and New York State United Teachers is not reached by today.
