Former Yankees left-handed pitcher Jordan Montgomery is living this disturbing circumstance first hand, as he was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday for outfielder Harrison Bader.

On Wednesday afternoon in St. Louis, as the New York Mets were taking on the Cardinals in the final game of a three game series, a former manager of the Tri City ValleyCats decided he was going to pick the guy they nicknamed the 'Polar Bear.'

My beloved Atlanta Braves have secured a spot for the National League Wild Card game. Last year I cried as the Braves choked down the stretch. Not this year though, they have been playing great baseball and their pitching is doing awesome.
