Since I received my copy of Jamey Johnson's 'Living For A Song: A Tribute To Hank Cochran,' I have probably listened to it at least four times. Cochran's name may not be familiar to your average country fan, but once you see the titles he's written, you will realize that you do know this man!

The Music and Memories of July 14

Randy Houser is a star on the rise and I personally can't wait to see him on the WGNA Countryfest 2011 stage on July 9th at the Altamont Fairgrounds.

I think we all do this from time to time. You start listening to one particular artist and for awhile that is all you listen to. That has happened to me as of late with the music of Jamey Johnson.

The Grammy's are just ten days away and the performances for the big show on February 13th have been announced.  Drake and Rihanna, Cee Lo Green, Gwyneth Paltrow, the Muppets and Mick Jagger (Rolling Stones) will be performing.  The biggest surprise,  is the Rolling Stones, of course.

There has been a great abundance of new country music coming out this year. If Sunny Sweeney's new CD with her debut hit "From A Table Away" on Nashville Republic came out this year it may have gotten my top spot.
