Congratulations to the diverse list of Country Music singers who've made the list of Grammy Nominations for 2013.

Just when you thought Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton had done it all, two of Country Music's most beloved senior artists get another Grammy nomination in 2013.

We recently featured Country Music Grammy Winners on WGNA's Sunday Morning Classic Country Hall of Fame Show. When we put the spotlight on 1987, great memories came back to life with this classic K.T. Oslin song.

Carrie Underwood was a big winner at the 2013 Grammy Awards thanks to her song 'Blown Away.' However, it seems that her necklace is getting just as much attention as her Grammy trophies.

Carrie Underwood is a Superstar and a friend to us here in the Albany area. She just played to a packed house at the Times Union Center and took a moment in her show to show her respect to the families affected by the recent tragedy in the Shen school district.

I am a big fan of award shows, especially any involving music. The CMA's, The ACM's,The AMA's, Etc. The Grammy's however don't interest me as much because there are just way too many awards. That is about to change.

She is less than 30 years old, and probably the most popular performer to come out of Fox's "American Idol", not to mention having one of the most powerful voices in country music, being able to cover a ballad like "Jesus Take the Wheel", and the more rockin' "Last Name". . Carrie Underwood, the singer-songwriter and also actress, from Muskogee, Oklahoma, is celebrati
