Sunday night, after the Grammy Awards, a Los Angeles reporter was about to give a backstage report when she started talking in gibberish.  The news anchor had just tossed it over to KCBS reporter Serene Branson, live backstage at the Staples Center...

They were nominated for “Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals” for  their song “Little White Church”.

There are so many awards that you won't see on the televised portion of the Grammy Awards Sunday, February 13.   One of those HUGE honors is the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.   With 7 Grammy Awards and 45 Grammy Nominations to date, there is no one more deserving than this year's Country Music recipient, Dolly Parton!

Let’s take a look at some other Grammy nominees.

On February 13, Sunday night will be the 53rd Grammy Awards. As I looked over the list of nominees, and I kept seeing this one name appear to be nominated in a few categories, and not just for country music.

I always enjoy seeing Country Music acts get recognition outside of the Country Music industry.  I think it's a great way for the Country Music community to get some recognition and publicity for artists and music that the general public may not be aware of, if they don't listen to country radio.
