Chris Cagle was supposed to be a part of this year's Countryfest, but due to surgery he had a few months prior, he was still recovering and couldn't take part in this year's festivities. He appears to be well rested and raring to go back out on the road.

A lot of people were a little put off by Miranda Lambert after Countryfest last weekend. I think the beach ball incidents were what really sent people over the edge.

You couldn't have asked for better weather on Saturday July 9, as about 30 thousand people joined all of us from WGNA for Countryfest 2011 at the Altamont Fairgrounds. I will give News 10's  Steve Caporizzo a big thank you for that.

The first person in line arrived at 10P FRIDAY night. Crazy, huh? It's always a blast at Countryfest and we plan to have just as much fun this year as we do every year! Check out some folks waiting in line - and maybe even see yourself!

This past weekend at a show in Washington, Tim McGraw was not only the star of the show but also the security guard. Seems a few fans became a little unruly and started some trouble while opening act The Band Perry were performing. That's where Tim stepped up and came to the rescue.

I never condone running on the field during a sporting event. It's just plain stupid. But every once in awhile it is rather amusing to see a drunken moron take a crack at it. It's even funnier when it's a Boston Red Sox fan getting taken down by a security guard like a Quarterback in an NFL game!
