More cannabis dispensaries are popping up all over the Capital Region and now Saratoga Springs is in the mix. There are two dispensaries looking to open in the Spa City.

Downtown Troy just saw a significant real estate deal go down. The Trojan Hardware building, sitting prominently at the corner of 96 Congress St., along with its neighboring properties, has changed hands.

The Capital Region's first cannabis store opened on April 1st and there has been a line around the building at times. Now this new dispensary in Schenectady starts delivery services.

We finally know when the first Upstate New York cannabis store will open in the Capital Region. Last month we knew where the store would be open but we weren't sure when. This is just the beginning for the owner of Upstate CBD and he plans on opening two more stores nearby soon.

As we get closer to marijuana shops being legal, it looks as if the first one in Upstate New York will be opening soon in the Capital Region. The owner already had a CBD store and will expand into a recreational cannabis store.

Saratoga County will be getting their first medical marijuana dispensary in the early part of 2019. This will enable physicians and medical professionals the ability to prescribe and dispense the drug.
