This was our "Good News" feature on today's show and I think it is one of the most touching. There are so many different angles to this story, but I would be remiss if I didn't mention first the message that this man's daughter was trying to convey when she posted this video, talk to and enjoy your parents while you still can. that in itself is a pretty powerful message.

This is SO FUNNY, I have watched it a few times and like all good comedy it gets better every time. The best part of it is, this guy is not trying to be funny. His name is Flula and he is a club DJ from Germany. He is for real , he has posted other things like, wanting to know who named the "Daddy Long Legs", and I think he believes he is the German version of Andy Rooney.
There are many people out there that love social media, i.e. Facebook. Many, many, many, many people. Why then do I always seem to meet people (mostly fellow baby boomers) who put this new fangled technology down?
It really is a sign of the times. We watch TV in short segments. Always channel surfing. We "tweet" in very short sentences, leave very short abbreviated text messages, listen to short sound bytes on the news --and now this... the 5 minute talking rule!!
