Just 2 short days from now we will be outside having a great country music party with you at the Summer Picnic Concert on August 25th at the Saratoga County Fairgrounds.

We are just a few short days away from the GNA Summer Picnic and I am excited! I am always up for a good ol' fashioned party and this one looks to be a great one. The weather is supposed to be perfect so there is no reason not to have some fun with GNA.

Saturday, August 25, 2012 is expected to be a busy day in Saratoga, New York.  While thousands of people will be headed to the Saratoga Race Course for the Travers' Race, GNA listeners will be making their way to the Saratoga County Fairgrounds for the Summer Picnic with Chris Cagle and Jason Michael Carroll.

Someday, and I mean SOMEDAY, I'm going to sit down and organize every picture from every Countryfest that I've ever shot.  I am still bleary-eyed from searching through files named CFEST (no year mentioned, of course!)  But I did manage to find a couple of "blasts from the past" that you might find interesting

I love country concerts. Inside or outside, any season of the year there is no such thing as a bad country concert. I will say though that the outside experience is always a little more fun for a few reasons.

With the Unofficial Jeff Levack Birthday Party only a few days away I wanted to take a minute to share a few songs I can't wait to be there for. Oh you may want to call it GNA's Summer Picnic. lol

I can't wait til we get outside and enjoy a big day of country music with you this Saturday! Get your lawn chairs and blankets ready and we'll bring the food and beer to the Summer Picnic.

It's always fun when an artist calls the show, it's even way more fun when you can call them a friend. I love Chris, I'm sure there are many people out there who don't like straight talkin', no B.S. kind of people but I do. If you do as well, you will like this interview.

GNA Summer Picnic star Chris Cagle is currently back on country radio with a hit song titled 'Let There Be Cowgirls.' Cagle recently revealed that the new single was inspired by someone very special.

Just 10 days from today we will be partying with thousands of you at the Saratoga County Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 25th.
