Our wish for a white Christmas will come true, but it will also cause of our favorite holiday attractions to push pause.

If you have been planning a drive-thru of Capital Holiday Lights in the Park in Albany, you will have to put it off a few days. According to a post on the holiday lights Facebook page, they will close through Saturday while the city leans up the snowstorm. The show will resume this Sunday, December 20th.

It is amazing the amount of snow we received from winter storm Gail, and you have to figure cleaning up the road through Washington Park is a chore in itself. It is also probably not as high a priority for the city to clean up while they are focused on getting our road cleared out.

But the good news is once the lights resume drive-thrus this Sunday, Washington Park will be a winter wonderland and it will make the show that much brighter.
