Six Flags Adds New Record-Breaking Thrill Ride [VIDEO]

If you're the type of thrill seeker that likes their rides bigger and faster, Six Flags finally completed their recent record-breaking thrill ride and you need to try it out!

Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey announced late last year that they were going to be breaking more records with their new ride "Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth." According to a press release from the park, through USA Today, the new Wonder Woman ride will be 17 stories tall which makes it the tallest pendulum ride in the world. It will also reach speeds of 75mph!

The huge pendulum holds 40 riders who will spin in counterclockwise circles "with no floor beneath them, more than 170 feet in the air."

Theme Park Insider went on the recently opened ride and said that you reach a maximum height of 172 feet and that's not even where the intensity stops. On the way down, there's an incredible amount of hang time that makes you feel like you're floating. They also make note of the tagline "dizzying journey to extreme heights," and say it's true-to-form in more than one sense of the phrase.
