Saratoga County Sheriff’s Take Down Meth Dealer & Two Others
A lengthy investigation by Saratoga County Sheriffs led to the arrest of a 40 year old woman from Saratoga County along with two others. Officers in the narcotics unit say they conducted a surveillance operation in the town of Wilton on suspected dealers and users.
Tracy Whipple from Saratoga Springs was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with the intention to distribute.
Two men were also arrested in the sting, 26 year old Jamie Brewer of Stillwater for possession of crack cocaine.
Police also nabbed 36 year old Corey Saxton of Greenwich. Saxton is on parole and ran off when officers tried to arrest him. One officer was injured as they took Saxton into custody. He's facing several charges including criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, and assaulting an officer.
Whipple and Brewer were arraigned and released with future court dates scheduled. Saxton was taken to Saratoga County Jail without bail.
Saratoga County Sheriff's have been conducting a series of operations in 2022 aimed at taking down drug dealers. Back in may a 19 year old meth dealer was taken into custody by deputies.
