Rotterdam Square Mall May Be Sold Again
After stores closing and some issues with National Grid, the owner of the Rotterdam Square Mall may be selling the mall.
Rotterdam Square Mall Sign From 2011
The owner, Mike Kohan, who purchased the mall not long ago, was hoping to bring the mall to a thriving shopping center, but unfortunately it did not work out.
It was reported in an article in the Times Union this past Friday, that Kohan said that “nothing is finalized” about the sale of the mall. It was also mentioned that a potential buyer is a unidentified Turkish group, and that was about all he would say. It’s possible there may be a buyer sometime this week.
We had a story about the mall to be sold at an auction back in December 2013.
