The latest I LOVE NY foliage report is out, and this weekend will feature prime-time leaf-peeping in the Capital Region.

The lastest I LOVE NY foliage report has been released, and they are predicting "Stunning peak foliage...for most of Upstate New York."  If you have been taking in the foliage this year it has been brilliant this year and that will continue this weekend.

I LOVE NY says the Capital Region and Saratoga Springs will be peak colors this weekend, and they say you can even still see some great foliage in the Adirondacks and Catskills which are a little past peak. Places like Saratoga Springs, Cohoes Falls and Thatcher State Park will once again be prime viewing spots this weekend with 75 to 80 percent color change in most of the area. Now if you prefere to drive while you take in the foliage, I LOVE NY also has a great list of routes you can take in Upstate New York for some prime views.

In my mind, this really is the most beautiful time of year here in Upstate New York, The views are stunning, the weather is super-comfortable and we have a ton of great seasonl beers right now being produced! In what has been a super crazy year with the pandemic, the change in seasons and those fall traditions we arrpeciate so much have been comforting. Through all the talk of the new normal. the crisp air, the colors and the fall harvest have been spectacular in their normal way. It has certainly been comforting to see Mother Nature functioning "normally."
